If there is one traditional food I don\u2019t care much about it\u2019s the Epiphany kings\u2019 galette, the \u201cgalette des rois<\/em>\u201d. Whether the brioche or the frangipane, I don\u2019t care much about them. Not that I dislike them but I don\u2019t like them either. They are not part of my must-eat <\/em>food. And since I am bad at making puff pastry, that\u2019s even easier to forget about it\u2026 but this year IG was covered with galettes and though I was insensitive to them A. wasn\u2019t\u2026 and he asked me why we never have galette though he loves it so much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What???? Why on earth would you wait more than 20 years to tell me???<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How could I have not imagined he would love galette. He who doesn\u2019t like almonds but loves calisson and financiers, he who doesn\u2019t love butter but loves croissants and brioches\u2026 of course he loves galette\u2026 of course I ignored that\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well then\u2026 I took all the courage it takes to make an attempt at puff pastry when I have failed so often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
